Tips For Removing Grease From Kitchen Cabinets

By Guido Stiehle Every time we cook our favorite foods, we’re unwittingly creating build-up on our cabinets that can destroy the natural beauty of the wood. That nasty film leaves cabinets looking old and dirty, as well as making them feel sticky and unpleasant. If you’re unsure of how much damage your cabinets have gotten, unscrew one of the hinges or a handle and look at the color of the wood underneath. That will give you a good indication of how much discoloration you’re dealing with, and also let you know the color that you should be able to achieve with a good cleaning. Preventing Build-Up If you’re religious about running your exhaust fan over your stove as you cook, you can help cut down on some of the airborne grease. However, no matter how careful you are, that film is going to show up on your cabinets - unless you eat take-out every night! The most important thing is to give your cabinets a good wiping down every other month or so. This will keep the build-up manageable, and save your scrubbing arm some work. Best Cleaning Products Without buying special products, you should be able to eliminate that greasy build-up. To start, foam two tablespoons of dish soap in two cups of water. Use clean rags or paper towels to rub the suds onto the cabinets. Make sure to follow the grain of the wood. Then rinse with a damp sponge and rub down with a dry dish towel. The grease fighters in the dish soap will cut that greasy residue easily. There are also plenty of commercial products that can work wonders on greasy cabinets. Try Orange Glo, Greased Lightning, or Simple Green. Just follow the directions on the products. If you’d rather go all natural, mix equal parts vinegar and water and rub on with a damp sponge. With any of these techniques, you may have to repeat a few times, depending on how dirty your cabinets are. What About Painted Cabinets? Painted cabinets are no exception - they gather just as much buildup as natural wood. You can use the dish soap method, or use a multi-purpose spray cleaner like 409 or Fantastik. Make sure that if you’re planning on repainting, you give your cabinets a very thorough cleaning, otherwise the fresh coat of paint may have trouble sticking. Cleaning your cabinets can seem like a daunting chore, so if you’re pressed for time, do three cabinets a day until they’re all done. Remember that once you get them really clean, you should then clean them every other month so they won’t have time to build up much residue. Staying on top of the chore can make it much easier to achieve the stunning results you desire. You can read more home cleaning tips and also submit questions on our website. Auto Accident Tips

By J Zuniga Auto accidents can be very stressful if you don’t know what to do. The following are some tips in case you are involved in an auto accident. First of all, make sure everyone is ok. If anyone isn’t ok, then immediately call 911. By OK, I mean, needing medical attention. For example a broken bone, concussion, or serious cut. If you aren’t hurt, then you want to make sure you do the right thing and protect yourself. There are alot of people out there that will frivolously sue, so you want to make sure and handle yourself properly. Don’t anger or upset the person you are involved in a wreck with. You don’t want to give them any more motivation to sue you. The next thing you want to do is identify the driver. Make sure that they don’t try to switch drivers. In some cases involving drinking, people have been known to switch drivers. Get the drivers licence number and address. If you notice the other person has been drinking heavily, a trick i’ve used before is i called myself on my cell phone and recorded them on my voice mail. This may or may not be used in court, but when it comes time to make a claim, you can use the fact that you have a recorded conversation of them drunk as leverage against them. This may help you. Another tip, is look for witnesses if it was their fault. Neutral 3rd party witnesses can be very helpful if you find them. Look for any excuses that they give when speaking with you, such as I’m tired, I am sick, or I am drunk. Also notice if they say they are OK. At least you’ll have this documented if they go back and say that they are are suffering from a neck injury. As far as police reports go, depending on which state you are in the law may require a police report to be filed. In alot of cases, if injury occurs, or if the property damage exceeds a certain amount, a police report must be filed. I recommend calling 911 and informing them of the accident. If you call it may help show that you weren’t trying to hide anything. The next step is dealing with an insurance company. This can be a serious headache depending on how willing your insurance company is. First of all, you have a certain time frame that you have to make your claim in. Your policy should outline this grace period. Once you contact them, they will ask you some questions and may even try to get a recorded conversation from you. If they want a recorded conversation, then I would suggest hiring an attorney. If you look hard, you’ll be able to find one at a reasonable cost. Another bit of advice when dealing with insurance companies, is, ‘Don’t be a pushover.’ Let them know you won’t back down easily if you don’t get what you deserve. Getting in auto accidents is never a good situation, but taking the right steps can ensure that it doesn’t get much worse. The Rapture

By Mike Bradley Here is the 50 million dollar question - will there be a Rapture of Gods saints before the Tribulation, or will all of Gods people living at that time have to go through the Tribulation and possibly be martyred for their faith? Im going to go ahead and give you the main Scripture verses dealing with the possibility of a Rapture. There is divided opinion in the Body of Christ as to whether or not there is going to be a rapture. Each one of you will have to come to your own conclusion on this subject per your own interpretation of the Scripture verses listed below. Ill give you my two cents on the subject. Ill point out key words and key phrases in the following verses. As you will see in the following verses, I feel there is very strong evidence from Scripture that there will be a Rapture, and that it will occur before the Antichrist starts the persecution of Gods saints, and before God starts to pour out His wrath upon the earth during the 7 year Tribulation. In other words, it will be a pre-tribulation Rapture. 1. This first verse is very interesting. You already know that one of the names of the Antichrist is the “Lawless One” per the Scripture verse I gave you in my first article. This verse is definitely talking about the Antichrist. Here is the verse: “And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in our time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8) You know the lawless one is referring to the Antichrist because then the verse says Jesus will destroy him when He comes back for the second time. But look very closely at the phrase “only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the Lawless One will be revealed.” The “H” in the word “He” is a capital H. That means “He” is either referring to God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Since God and Jesus are in heaven right now, the “He” has to be referring to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has always been referred to as the One who restrains evil from getting out of control on this earth. It says that the Antichrist cannot be revealed until He is taken out of the way. Since we know that the Holy Spirit still has to be down here even if there is a Rapture, who is “He” referring to? If there is a Rapture, there still will be a multitude of people that are going to get saved and then martyred. If they are saved, then they are sealed with the Holy Spirit, which means the Holy Spirit is living on the inside of them like He is with us.I believe the “He” may be referring to the “Holy Spirit operating through the Church.” That means that the Body of Christ - the Church will be what is taken out before the Antichrist can be revealed. Think about this. The Antichrist is going to be very easy to spot once he starts to enter into the world scene. All the Scripture verses I gave you on the Antichrist and 7 year Tribulation spell out exactly what is going to occur, and there will be more than enough astute Christians who are going to be able to pick up who he is when all of these events start to occur. With some of the powerful TV ministries that we have in place such as the Pat Robertson 700 Club, I am sure that the Body of Christ will be shouting from the rooftops once the Antichrist is spotted. The word will be spread and it will become very hard for the Antichrist to rise to the kind of power that the Bible is foretelling. I believe that the Church has to be taken out, as the above verse is stating, before the Antichrist can be revealed to the rest of the world. And the above verse states exactly that - that the Antichrist will not be revealed until “He,” who is restraining him, is taken out of the way!!! Once the Body of Believers are Raptured off of the earth, there will nothing that will be able to stop the Antichrists rise to power. The rest of the world is going to be easily duped in believing in this man - especially with all of the “false signs and wonders” that will be performed by the False Prophet on his behalf. I believe the above verse alone is very strong Scriptural evidence that there will be a Rapture of Gods saints before the Antichrist rises to full power. 2. This next verse talks about that those who are “alive” will be “caught up” to meet the Lord in the “air”. Here is the verse: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) This verse really seems to be implying that there will be a group of saints who are going to “caught up” or pulled up to meet the Lord in the air while we are still alive! Those words spell possible “Rapture” to me. 3. The next verse tells us a “mystery”- that not all of Gods saints are going to “sleep” - and that this group is going to be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and that this event will occur at the last trumpet. I believe the Last Trumpet is Gods last call to His people, and that it implies that whoever is saved and born again when this trumpet sounds off, will be Raptured and spared going through the horrors of the Tribulation. I believe that the word “mystery” is being used to let us know that God is keeping the possibility of a Rapture a “secret,” a “mystery” to the rest of the world. That is why all of the Scripture verses pertaining to this event do not “perfectly” spell it out or state it without any shadow of a doubt. There is enough of a “hint” in these verses for His own people to pick it up, but not to the rest of the unbelieving world. Here is the verse: “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.” (1 Corinthians 15:51) I believe that the words “last trumpet” tells us this event will occur at the end of times. The words “shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye”, really do describe what could be a Rapture - the immediate vanishing or disappearance of Gods people from the face of the earth in the “snap of a finger.” 4. The next verse is from Jesus Himself out of Revelations. Here is the verse: “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I ALSO WILL KEEP YOU FROM THE HOUR OF TRIAL WHICH SHALL COME UPON THE WHOLE WORLD, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelations 3:10) This verse could be literal translation - that Jesus will keep His Body of Believers that are living at this time out of the hands of the Antichrist. He obviously will either do it by Rapturing them off the face of the earth or by providing some kind of physical protection for them if there is no Rapture. My guess is that He will do this by Rapturing them off of the earth. 5. Here is another verse from Jesus stating that we watch and pray that we be counted worthy to escape all the things that may be coming our way. The verse is: “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be COUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT WILL COME TO PASS, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36) This verse really seems to be hinting or implying once again that God is going to allow some of us to escape or be prevented from having to go through the events of the Tribulation. 6. Now here are some additional verses that are not quite as strong as the above verses, but do suggest the possibility that God will keep us from these events. “… and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who DELIVERS US FROM THE WRATH TO COME.” (1 Thessalonians 1:10) This verse either means Jesus will deliver us before the wrath comes, which would line up with a Rapture, or it may mean when He comes down for the second time at the battle of Armageddon to put an end to all of the carnage with the Antichrist. “FOR GOD DID NOT APPOINT US TO WRATH, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9) This verse could be implying that His Body will not be appointed or be subject to the events of the Tribulation - or the “wrath” could simply be pointing to people going to hell for refusing to accept Jesus and His gift of eternal salvation. Conclusion If there is going to be a Rapture, I believe that God will rapture His believers off of this earth sometime before the start of the 7 year Tribulation. I dont think He will wait to the midpoint of the Tribulation where the Antichrist seats himself in the Temple proclaiming himself to be God and then starts all the persecution. I feel the Antichrist will be fully revealed to the world at the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation when he enters into a peace treaty and covenant with Israel, and then allows them to start rebuilding their Temple so that he can eventually get into it at the midpoint of the Tribulation to proclaim himself to be God. And remember the very first verse above, that the Antichrist cannot be revealed until “He” is taken out of the way. And when “He” is taken out of the way, then the Antichrist can be fully revealed to the rest of the world. And “He” in my opinion may be the Church or the Body of Believers that are living at the time of these events. The other reason I think the Rapture will occur sometime before the start of the 7 year Tribulation is that the Antichrist is going to need some time to set things up. Once the Church is taken out, he will be free to start operating at full scale. The first thing he is going to do is convince and persuade the rest of the world to follow him and I feel he will do that by trickery and deception. If he starts the persecution too early on those who will not take his mark, he will risk not being able to gain full control of everything. I feel he will first suck everyone in by peace and diplomacy and the promise of a better world. Then once he has enough of the nations on his side and the Jewish Temple is once more rebuilt, that will be the time that He will then go for all of the marbles. He will seat himself in the temple at the midpoint of the Tribulation, proclaim himself to be God, kill anyone who will not accept his mark, and will then seek total world domination and control. Think about this. This one man, through the power of Satan, will get a chance to have more power and control over the entire world than any other man has ever had during the entire course of our human history. This will be the ultimate ego trip for a power hungry human being. I think that the last three and half years of the Tribulation is going to be the last and final history lesson from God to us. With the Church being taken out of the way so Satan and the Antichrist can operate at full force, I feel that God is going to show all of us how much terror, death and destruction humans and demons are capable of committing if given half the chance without God directly intervening. In three and half years, Satan and the Antichrist are going to cause so much death and destruction on this earth, that Jesus Himself says that had these days not been shortened by God the Father Himself - that no flesh would have been saved! I really feel that Satan, if he knew he had the chance, would set up the entire scenario with the Antichrist to destroy the entire world through nuclear weaponry. Satan already knows he is defeated. He knows he will eventually end up in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone forever and ever. He knows that this is his last chance for mass destruction and terror. He hates all humans and anything to do with God and heaven. If God would allow him anymore time than the three and half years, I really believe Satan would set the world up for mass destruction through nuclear weapons. He would then have the satisfaction that he literally destroyed the entire world before he goes to his final fate. But thank God, He will not allow this scenario to go this far. But God is going to allow it to go far enough to teach us all a lesson that we will never ever forget. He is going to show us how quickly humans can be deceived by Satan and his demons, and the only thing that has kept this world in one piece for the last 6000 years has simply been the power and restraining force of God the Father Himself operating through the Holy Spirit. Bottom line - there is only maximum life with God or maximum death without Him. The last three and half years in the Tribulation will show us what “maximum death” will really be like when God removes His Church off the face of this earth, and he then allows the Devil and the Antichrist to do what they want with the power that will be given to them. After we watch and see all of these events unfold, we will never, ever want to forsake our God again. We will come to the full realization that without God in our lives - that we can never have or find true happiness, joy, love, peace or fulfillment in our lives. Without God in our lives, there is only eventual maximum death, and the last three and half years on this earth is going to prove that point once and for all to all of us. It will be the greatest history lesson that the world will ever receive, and something that we will never ever forget for the rest of our eternal lives. Will there be a Rapture? You will each have to decide for yourselves on the way the above Scripture verses are worded. My conclusion, after putting all the above verses together like a “jigsaw puzzle,” is that there will be a rapture, and that it will occur sometime before the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation. I feel the Rapture is a “mystery” from God, and that it is “hidden” in the above verses. God does not want the rest of the unbelieving world to have full access to this mystery, otherwise people will be accepting salvation for the wrong reasons - to escape the coming horrors of the Tribulation and not with a true, repentant heart to want to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior for the sinners that we all truly are. Again, you may want to put this article on the shelf in the event that we start to fast approach end time events in our lifetime. Craft And Hobby Woods - Basswood - Balsa Wood and Others

By Paul Wonning Many hobbies involve building, carving, or wood burning which require speciality woods. These hobby and craft woods are available for just about any purpose. Hobbyists may choose from balsa, basswood, plywood, walnut, cherry, maple, among others for their project needs. Sheets or strips of these fine woods are available in thicknesses from 1/32 ” to one inch, and in widths from 1/16 through six inches. You may purchase either sheets or strips. Balsa is the most versatile of the hobby woods. Native to South America, these sixty foot trees are grown on large plantations. The wood is lightweight and strong. South Americans have been using balsa for boat and raft building since antiquity. Anyone who can recall Thor Heyerdahl’s Kon Tiki adventures will know of his successful attempt to reach the Polynesian Islands from South America on a balsa raft. Balsa’s fine grain combined with its strength and light weight have made it valuable for a great number of uses. Its heat retention ability has made it useful for insulating refrigerator and ship holds. It is used in aircraft to reduce vibration. Surfboards and life preservers have also been manufactured from balsa wood. Crafters and hobbyists will find balsa very easy to cut and carve, making it ideal for a multitude of projects. It can also be painted or stained any color the hobbyist desires. Its greatest value for hobbyists is undoubtedly in the construction of model airplanes. Free flight , control line, and radio control aircraft are all made primarily from balsa wood. Other uses for this versatile wood include model boat building and dollhouse construction, as well as many other craft projects. Model railroaders can use balsa for scratch-building houses and other structures, bridges, and structural support for scenery. Basswood, or linden, is another wood crafters and hobbyists find very useful. This North American wood is grown primarily in northern Michigan and Wisconsin. Heavier than balsa, it shares many of it’s characteristics - close-grained, strong, and lightweight. Basswood’s hobby uses mirror those of balsa, but its heavier weight limits its use in building model airplanes. Because it carves easily, it is the premier choice for both beginning and advanced woodcarvers. Novice wood burners will also find basswood friendly, as it burns well. Like balsa, it is available in strips and sheets. Additionally, specialty shapes for dollhouse building include molding, siding, and roof shingles. Special project needs may require the use of hobby plywood. This extremely high quality plywood ranges in thickness from paper thin 1/32 of an inch to 1/4 inch. Birch is the wood used, so it can take any stain desired. It is very durable and suitable for many uses. Other woods are available for specialized hobby projects, including walnut, maple, cherry, and mahogany. Twenty four inch lengths include both strips and sheets. The maximum width for sheets is four inches. Basswood and balsa are the most commonly available hobby/craft woods. Other types may need to be special ordered from your local craft or hobby shop. Check out the selection today for all your project needs. Paul Wonning is the owner of Toys, Hobbies and Crafts.com a web site which has information about many hobbies and crafts. Stereotyping

By Roger Green Stereotyping is a kind of gossip about the world, a gossip that makes us prejudge people before we ever lay eyes on them, says Robert L. Heilbroner, in an essay titled Dont let Stereotyping warp your Judgment. The society that we live in sets the stage for stereotypes to play a major role in our daily living, but the finals choice to act this way is left to us as individual. In stereotyping, is it “we”(the people) or is it “me” (the person) who is forever the judge of what environment I choose to surround myself in? As I have come to realize, it is “I” who has the power to succeed in lifting the blinders of “reality” and seeing with what we have come to call the “naked truth.” Stereotyping is neither necessarily as powerful as a term such as racial prejudice nor as materially shaped as ethnic authenticity. Stereotype is a personal and sometimes offensive feeling that has been formulated into a word. It is a personal judgment that can offend us, as it is more an inward feeling. A thought. Or is it merely just a ploy in acknowledging our judgments because our ignorance is too strong? When I was a younger, I had a teacher that loved to teach me philosophy. Her open-mindedness towards the judgment of people and their stereotypes fascinated me. In many points I was hungry to learn and her words could be like gold to a young mind as mine. As I grew towards a philosophy, she directed me towards her personal library where she handed me a book called, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. As she pulled this well used paperback book off the shelf, I looked at the other books of which were just as used and would be more like something she would direct me towards and books such as The Art of War, The Warrior Within, and Confucianism. These books seemed more typical in my learning, and what was my real view of her? Was it distorted in some way? Had I been deceived all this time? So I took the book like a good student, put it among my things and carried it home. I opened the book and began to read. It explained things about how to view people through some guy that thought anyone could be his friends. As I read into this book, I kept thinking about my teacher. Wondering why she would give me a book of this nature and what were her intentions? Then I would look back at the book without truly reading it, and think, “what a strange and manipulative book, I don’t want any part of this.” I remember trying to sponge in what I thought, was nonsense. Why? You see my first mistake in why I couldn’t sponge it in was because I had already made the decision in my mind that this book was not the book for me. By some incredible well-shaped thought in my head, I was doomed not to understand the book only because of the cover. Here, I had a teacher telling me I could learn from this book and I refused it. I judged it because it “appeared” manipulative and pointless to me. Why would I want to understand other people, I thought she was teaching me how to deal with my own spirits and issues. This affected our relationship, because I used this book to judge the way I felt about her. Our relationship deteriorated because of the way I judged and I shouldn’t have allowed it to effect me so harshly. Needless to say, the cover seemed manipulative and sneaky “Win Friends?” I told myself what a rude comment, you don’t win friends, and you make friends. Right? Because of my ignorance, I only achieved 4 chapters. I believe I not only disappointed myself as a student. My teacher knew that I could not confront my own judgment and read the damn book! I disappointed her and myself. I was off the scale in distorting my stereotype that I had for my teacher. This inevitably began a new path of doubt. I had allowed such a small judgment of what she “should” be teaching me, which distorted the bigger judgments that would forever have me doubting her techniques as a teacher. Why after these years have I come to apply this to stereotyping, I wonder? Time has passed and to my normal self it seems such a weak mistake. The grand joke of it all is that I still have the book. Last year I finally finished it and it has created quite a tool in dealing with strangers. Isn’t that what she was trying to tell me? You see, I can look back now and believe it was a test. Now if I truly think about it, she loved that book just by the ragged shape it was in. In reality I think she shared that book with me so that I might know in dealing with people, that I might think of having a game plan. A confidence. Not a self-fulfilling way to dig into peoples brains and uses it against them, but for good. Which was what I thought of her all along. I believe now that she was trying to teach me a simpler way of getting to know and like people from the view of my own eyes. In observation, I allowed the cover to identify how someone might feel about me reading this book. I allowed the words on the front determine just exactly what I thought this whole book was about. I even went as far as to stereotype myself and in doing so, I released a little more ignorance into my environment. Is this what stereotyping is? To myself, it can’t be offending others as much as it offends my own spirit. When I sort out something, as if filing it away, I am in fact sorting my own thoughts. Allowing “others” view of what “I” see as concrete evidence to make a decision in how I am going to judge in my surrounding environment. Stereotyping is a defense mechanism we use in shadowing our own identity of the truth. It is in fact, the thought of what others have thought. I let the cover of that book and what I “thought” my teacher was “supposed” to be teaching me cloud my reality and drive my ignorance. It was as if it were a natural part of my youth. I have come to realize that stereotyping is a way to impress others. Are we merely programming what we think is the truth? My teacher had showed me a way to think outside of myself and my own stereotype blinded me into rationalizing what I thought “the way” was. I chose to put this in my environment and in fact offended my own thoughts on judging a book by its cover. Maybe that is the true definition of stereotyping, for me. Stereotyping is in fact the “I,” because of how we each as individuals choose to categorize someone or something. It is indeed a self-destructive tool, which we use daily. So who is the judge after all, you or me through you? Roger Green, a writer of ProfEssays - custom essay writing company ( www.professays.com). How To Set Up An Indoor Garden In A Small Closet Space

By Rory Larkey Growing your indoor garden in a small space such as a closet can be quite beneficial to the hobbyist gardener. The grow space will be small and out of the way, yet easy to work with. Even the smallest of closet spaces can provide you with a good amount of fresh grown vegetables year round. Because of the various sizes of closets available in homes we will have to use a simple formula to find the square footage of your closet. This is how to find the square footage of your grow space. (Width x Length= Square Feet) Example: if your closet which is 3×4, you will find this room to be 12sq.feet. The reason you need to know the square footage of your closet is because plants have a certain light requirement for optimum growth. For Example, tomato plants need to attain around 40-50 watts per square foot for optimal growth. You then would take 50 watts x 12sq. ft. = 600 watts. This means that you will need a 600watt light to maintain your plants optimal growth in this particular garden. (Plants wattage needs x Square Feet = grow light requirement). You should start by cleaning the closet as best as possible. Paint the walls with a flat white paint to help aid in light reflection. This also helps to get rid of any possible insect pest such as spider mites. The most important things needed to be considered are temperature, humidity, air intake and exhaust. Most plants prefer to be between 55-80 degrees F. with the average tempatures at around 72 degrees F. When the lights are on they are a great source of heat as well as light. If temperatures should become too high, Exhaust blower fans will work well to reduce the temperature. Exhaust blower fans can be easily linked to a to temperature controller to ensure that your grow space never reaches the high temperatures that can have a negative effect on plants and growth rates. When your lights are off, however, you can expect a gradual decline in temperatures. In the winter months, Temperatures can drop well below the ideal plant growth range. You can add a space heater, also linked to your thermostat controller. Most plants flourish indoors with a humidity level at around 40-60%. A dehumidifier will lower the water content in the air, this can be useful in your grow space because too much moisture in the air will encourage mold growth. Also by reducing the humidity in the grow space you will increase the rate at which the water leaves the plant through their leaves, this will increase the amount of water and nutrients taken up by the plant causing their growth rate to increase. Plants require airflow to help strengthen their stalks. Without proper airflow they will have weak and skinny stalks. They will not be able to hold their selves up. Circulating fans are very important in your indoor garden because they will circulate airflow around the room to keep hot air from building up and burning your plants. Also it is important to help circulate your CO2 distribution, Spider mites and other insect pests dislike the continuous wind and will slow reproduction rates. Ventilation Fans (intake and exhaust blowers) will rid your grow space of heat and humidity. They will replace stale stagnant air with fresh clean air. Plants require fresh air to survive. Intake & Exhaust fans are rated by there volume of air movement in cubic feet per minute. You will need to know how many cubic feet your grow room has, to do this you measure the length x width x height of your grow space. For a space 3′x4′x10′ you will have 120 cubic feet of air space. You will want to be able to clear your space of stale air as quickly as possible. By being connected to a thermostat controller, the blower fans will turn on when the temperature reaches your high set point and then shut off when it reaches your low set point. So the larger rating of vent fans the better. You will need to cut out the proper size holes for your intake and exhaust fans. This can be done several different ways. Take time to draw out your plan. Think about it and decide what will work best for you. If you choose to make your holes right into the door itself, this is a good idea. Just remember that you will need to have a flexible air duct put into place so that everything stays intact as you open and close the door. You might also consider cutting your exhaust hole into the ceiling, thereby exhausting into the roof of your home. This technique will help eliminate any odors created by your plants, and also keep your main room that holds your closet cooler allowing cooler air intake from this same room. You should seal up your closet grow space with weather stripping so as to keep the light in when the lights are on and to keep light out when the lights are out. (Even a small amount of light in your garden during the dark cycle can cause stress to your plants. This can cause your plants in flowering-harvest stage to revert back to a vegetative stage). Marketing Results - How To Guarantee Yours

By Carol Bentley You can guarantee a good and usually impressive response to your direct response marketing letters and adverts by testing. There are different tests you can use, but it is important to test within your means. In this article you discover what and how to test, so you know EXACTLY what is — and what isn’t — working for you. Test your headlines, content, offer and response mechanism. Send your letter to a small portion of your database. Monitor the response you get. Test another version with a small number of contacts again and check that result. Then, when you have created the most responsive letter send it out to the rest of your list. If you dont test you could be spending a fortune unnecessarily. Businesses have discovered that not testing a marketing campaign before running it can be ruinous — testing, testing, testing is the only way to check if you have the right headline and offer For Adverts start small; with classifieds, and only increase in size when the response you get is at least break-even and, preferably, profitable. WE SEE THINGS FROM OUR OWN PERSPECTIVE The challenge we all have is to appreciate we see things from our own, personal perspective and so does everyone else. The headline, offer or money-back promise or other promise that appeals to you may not appeal to other people. It is crucially importance to get the headline right effectively the hook on your marketing fishing line. Your job is to find the combination of headline, offer and results-promise that attracts the highest number of people in your target market. MONITOR YOUR RESPONSES WITH CODING Make sure you know which letter or advert is successful. Do this by coding the response mechanism so you know which version has worked for you. The code can be a Dept reference in the address or a printed code on a response coupon or form. Have a reference code for the letter or advert and change it every time you make an alteration no matter how small. Doing this means you always know EXACTLY WHY your response dropped or increased. In an advert, for example, you can use letters to identify the publication perhaps the initials of the publication name and, in the case of a daily newspaper, which day of the week the advert was run. Part of the postal address could be: Dept ST186a Where ST - represents the publication, e.g. Sunday Times 18 - represents the week number when the advert was placed 6 - is the advert offer or product a - is the version of the advert. The letter a is altered whenever any changes are made, no matter how small. In this case, the second version would be 6b. Aim to continuously improve on the winning marketing pieces that are already working best for you When you have a winning formula, dont rest on your laurels. Monitor the results so you know the trend. Keep your successful advert or letter as your benchmark and start to test slight alterations only one element at a time. Always try to improve on what youve already achieved. Testing is the only way you can be certain what you are putting into the marketplace works for you. Remember, the ONLY people who can tell you something is definitely working are those who buy. Test one headline against another, test one offer against another, test one guarantee against another. Test, Test, Test. And you wont lose a fortune on unsuccessful marketing campaigns. © 2004 Carol A E Bentley Extracted from the book ‘I Want to Buy Your Product… Have You Sent Me a Letter Yet’ (How to create powerful sales letters, advertisements, flyers, brochures, web pages and newsletters that persuade hundreds, or even thousands, of additional customers and clients to buy from you!) by Carol A E Bentley (Rated 5-star on Amazon.co.uk) Subscribe to your free reports, with no obligation, at http://www.accelerateyoursales.co.uk or visit http://www.CarolBentley.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Carol_Bentley http://EzineArticles.com/?Marketing-Results—How-To-Guarantee-Yours&id=70567 free credit reports three fixed apr credit cards orlando car loan bad credit history apartment rentals bad credit approved boca raton delray beach fl

Top Tips For Fall & Winter Weddings

By Emily Tanner Getting married is the best thing you’ll ever do, no matter what time of the year you tie the knot. However, the date that you set is very important as it helps you decide on a theme for the big day. For instance, if you get married in the Autumn [or the fall] you can go for burnt oranges, golds, chocolates, yellows and reds. These beautiful colors will then be reflected in the autumn wedding favors [or fall wedding favors] that you hand to your guests. The favor boxes may be decorated in autumnal looking flowers or ribbons. If you choose to have bomboniere, your autumn wedding favor nets may be red, gold, plum, ochre, peach, yellow or brown - or maybe even a combination of these. Fall wedding favors can be decorated with warm colored leaves for a more rustic feel and you could tie this in with your table decorations. What about your wedding reception tables being scattered with red, gold and brown leaves and finished off with lashings of gold organza ribbon? Your Autumn wedding favors [or fall wedding favors] could then be put at each place setting with a centrepiece of pine cones, apples, peach roses, seasonal berries such as juniper and finished with ivory and gold trimmings. Heavenly! The fall truly is a magnificent time of year to get married as you can still get lots of sunshine and the temperature can be warm. If you are going for a winter wedding then your theme will be driven by the low temperatures and icy winds. The bride’s dress will probably be finished with a faux fur shrug and the bridesmaids and maids of honor will adorn lots of silver and gold! Your winter wedding favors will also reflect the festive season and depending on the date of your wedding, you may even choose to have Christmas wedding favors. Wedding reception tables can be dressed with white feathers, ivy, velvet red roses, white pearls and silver sparkles. Beautiful silver sprinkles [such as snowflakes and hearts] can be scattered across your pure white table linen and each place setting can have a co-ordinating winter wedding favor - perhaps decorated with silver and white feathers. Or, if you are planning on a Christmas theme, your Christmas wedding favors may be in the form of crackers, piled in heaps around the tables for guests to collect. Alternatively, silver or gold favor boxes could contain edible favors for your guests continuing the Christmas wedding favor theme. Whether you choose to have winter wedding favors or opt for a Christmas theme, your reception tables will look exquisite with the purity of white and silver. Angelic! Winter weddings are truly magical in every way… especially if it happens to snow!
